ED 800 Instructor: Steven WeilandCourse Description
This course was the first course I took on my road to obtaining my Masters. It focused on learning about the different educational inquiry processes, philosophies of teaching and learning, and the importance of self-reflection. Throughout this course, I learned about the methods that Vivian Paley, Mary Catherine Bateson, John Dewey, and Howard Gardner practiced and the impact each of them have made in the educational field. This course challenged me to look at multiple methods and see the positives and negatives each method possesses. It also got my writing kick started since it had been a while since I had to undertake so many papers. A great way to start my journey... ED 800 Syllabus |
